The tastes of Giarolo area
Our territory is an isle in the mountains at the crossroads of three regions, conveying old tastes and old cultures. From the others, the Nobile del Giarolo (the seasoned sausage produced in our farm), the Montebore cheese (an old cheese that skilled hands brought back to us) and the Timorasso wine (well-structured wine) stand out. During autumn, mushrooms and truffles reign supreme. Walking in the unpolluted woods you can find roes, wild boars and deers, a truly amazing experience. “Enjoy the territory by tasting it”, this is the saying of our holiday farm. We are open from Wednesday to Sunday: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at dinner time while Saturday and Sunday both at lunch and dinner. Here you will enjoy all that the territory has to offer. We don’t have a menu, we just prepare for our guests what we breed, grow or find in a few selected farms nearby. The key points of our holiday farm are: Salame Nobile del Giarolo, Montebore cheese, Timorasso wine. The restaurant accommodates 30 people: our cooking makes the most of this area with the foods we produce and the animals we breed. We have four rooms facing the swimming pool; here, guests can stop and rest after dinner or make full use of our structure; the holiday farm offers also another swimming pool overlooking the valley below, grasslands where to go with the mountain bike, the opportunity to horse-ride, hike or just relax in nature taking in all it has to offer.
