The animal farm: the municipality of Alessandria has many breeding farms welcoming school groups. These farms mainly breed dairy cows, steers and pigs, while our farmhouse counts also differently aged chickens, geese, guinea-hens, rabbits.
Boys and girls during their visit will see:
- the animals, appreciating the true size of each species;
- where and how animal live;
- what they eat and the places of production such as, for example, the farm flour mill.
We are a cattle breeding farm for the production of high quality milk; we raise also pigs and courtyard animals. Through the suggested didactic itinerary there is so much for school children to discover about the animal farm: boys and girls will see the true size of these animals, their habitat, their life cycles and eating habits. The farm can be easily reached by motorway, Alessandria Est junction: turn right, after 300 m at the lights turn left; go straight for 3 km, the farm is on the left. The farm opens all year round.
