RFruit, berry and wild herb harvesting
To whom it may concern: primary and secondary school students. Arranged meetings: appointment to the Farm, from April on, 10 am to 2 pm. Implementation: depending on the season, we will take a walk in the orchard, in the vegetable garden, or in cultivated fields. Children can pick season fruits and herbs: at the end of May cherry and lemon balm, in June peaches, mallow, lime, etc.
Goals: how to get to know fruits and wild plants: discover their shape, scent and natural habitat: some of them have flowers for infusions or leaves to cook, other berries to eat or to make jams. Children discover the secrets of nature.

La Raia lies at the heart of Novi Ligure hills. It covers more than 100 hectares of land: chestnut and acacia woods, a small lake, hills with vineyards, cultivated fields, old houses and barns with goats and dairy cows. We farm the land with biodynamic methods, according to a philosophy that pays attention to the balance of nature and to the ecosystem. We provide the schools with laboratories and guided tours during which children come into contact with nature, playing and getting dirty, experiencing the soil, the water, plants and animals.
