The B&B is a private form of accommodation which doesn't entail a productive activity and can be carried out by all people in their own houses. Farmers therefore can run a B&B.
Regional law no. 20/2000, regulating the activity, states that only three rooms can be made available for guests. With more than two rooms, two private bathrooms are required. Breakfast must be arranged for guests.
The activity must not be approved by the Mayor , who must however perform the necessary controls.
Guests must be reported to public security bodies within 24 hours.
The owner of the B&B must not issue invoices, the activity is not subject to VAT.
The intake shall be declared with natural persons income..
